WASHED UP BY MICHAEL CLARKE

This image was taken at Walton-On-The-Naze in Essex. After walking a fair bit of the coastline looking for something interesting to use as foreground, I stumbled across this washed up branch. Making the most of the last bit of colour in the sky before the sun set I quickly set up my tripod and got a composition I was happy with. As is typical with my seascape images, I opted to use a slower shutter speed to really show the movement of the water as it washes back past the branch.
